Wholesale Food FAQ
Whether you’re a new customer or a long-standing partner, we know you may have questions about how we work. Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions about our wholesale food service — from ordering and delivery times to accreditations and product ranges. If you need more information, our team is always happy to help.
When do you take orders?
Our sales office is open Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 6.30pm, ready to take your orders and answer any queries. Outside of these hours — including weekends — we offer an answerphone service so you can still place your order or leave a message at your convenience. We aim to make ordering as flexible and hassle-free as possible for our wholesale food and drink customers.
What time can you place an order until for next day delivery?
In most cases, you can place orders right up until 10pm. However, please note that certain customers or delivery areas may have earlier cut-off times, so it’s always best to confirm your specific arrangement with our team.
How can I place an order?
You can place an order easily by phone on 01483 725000 — where our friendly sales team are happy to help — or by email at orders@westhorsleydairy.co.uk. Whether you prefer a quick call or the convenience of email, we make ordering straightforward and efficient.
Do you have a minimum order value?
Yes, we do have a small minimum order value in place to help us maintain efficient deliveries, so please speak to our sales office when placing your order.
What areas do you do deliver to?
We deliver to Central and Greater London, Berkshire, Hampshire, West Sussex, parts of Buckinghamshire, parts of Hertfordshire, and parts of East Sussex. Our extensive delivery network means we can reliably supply many regions across the South of England, supporting a wide range of food service businesses.
Do you do doorstep deliveries?
No, we specialise in supplying food service businesses, such as pubs, hotels, restaurants, caterers, schools, conference centres, and other wholesale clients — we do not deliver directly to households or private addresses.
Do you use agency drivers?
No, we don’t use agency drivers. All of our delivery drivers are fully employed by West Horsley Dairy, ensuring they are well-trained and knowledgeable about our food and dairy products, as well as our service standards. This approach helps us maintain the highest levels of reliability, professionalism, and customer service.
Do your vehicles have satellite tracking?
Yes, all of our delivery vehicles are equipped with satellite tracking systems. Additionally, every driver carries a mobile phone, allowing us to maintain close contact and provide real-time updates on deliveries when needed. This ensures your wholesale food order arrives on time and gives you complete peace of mind.
Are you BRC accredited?
Yes, we are proudly British Retail Consortium-accredited (BRC) to AA standard — the highest grade achievable. This accreditation demonstrates our commitment to exceptional food safety standards and consistent quality throughout our operations. You can view our certificates on our “Accreditations” page.
Are you Soil Association accredited?

Do you have any other accreditations?
Yes, in addition to BRC and Soil Association accreditations, we also hold Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) Gold certification. This prestigious standard recognises outstanding practices in fleet safety, efficiency, and environmental impact — further underlining our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our service.
Do you stock more than just dairy products?
Absolutely! While we are known for our dairy products — such as our milk, eggs, butter, specialist cheeses and yoghurt — we also offer a broad range of other food and drink products, including morning goods, fruit juice, artisan bread, bottled water and vegan products. Please take a look at our product pages on the website to explore the full range — you may discover many additional items to support your menu or business needs.
Do you stock products from the South of England?

Our range includes cheeses and yoghurts sourced from Sussex, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, the New Forest and beyond. This focus on local sourcing helps us champion regional producers and bring fresh, high-quality items to our customers.
Do you have products suitable for vegans?
