When you are placing your order with West Horsley dairy, you will speak to a member of our efficient Customer Service staff. If you would prefer a daily telesales call at a time that suits your schedule, please do not hesitate to ask: we try harder to make your day easier. Remember, our sales office is open from 7.30 in the morning until 11.00 pm very day including weekends. Whilst all our suppliers are accredited foodservice manufacturers, there are rare instances when a particular product is subject to a national recall but we have minimised the chances of this happening. The systems & procedures we have in place enable us to readily identify what product has been delivered to each customer ensuring full product recall compliance. Our bespoke IT system is able to produce a wide range of customer statistical information which can be adapted to provide any report to your individual requirements and frequency.
All deliveries are made in refrigerated vehicles and temperatures are continually monitored. Every vehicle is equipped with satellite tracking and mobile communications which ensures they can be pin-pointed anywhere on route. When you need to know where we are with your delivery, we can tell you quickly and accurately. Our Foodservice range is one of the most comprehensive in the industry. In addition to a wide selection of chilled/ambient goods, we stock over 200 speciality cheeses and should there be a special requirement for that special function, ask us first; we are the experts. Our new order-entry system provides a “Live stock on screen” facility which enables orders/ quantities to be confirmed at the time the order is placed. We recognise that surprise substitutions or product omissions can be a frustration to the busy caterer and we are minimising the chances of this occurring.
Product safety is probably the most important requirement to the caterer and West Horsley Dairy has achieved the CMi (Higher Level) accreditation for the distribution of chilled dairy products. You can be sure that whatever we deliver to your business will be in full compliance of chill-chain and due diligence requirements. Should you require copies of our safety procedures or any product certification, please let us know. All our customers can have contact numbers for senior depot staff who are available when the sales office is closed.
